Alison Carver
Alison studied Music at Manchester University, followed by postgraduate studies in London and at the RNCM. She spent several years working as an orchestral percussionist, pianist and theatre musical director. During this time, she began composing children’s music and was commissioned to write songs for BBC Television and Radio.
Now working in primary music education, Alison writes songs and musicals for the children that she teaches and is delighted that it is published by Kevin Mayhew. She is able to draw upon her experience as a professional musician to create music of character that is varied and appealing, which gives pleasure to performers and listeners alike!
