Tim Hugh

One of the finest cellists of the new generation, Tim Hugh was appointed Principal Cellist of the London Symphony Orchestra in 1995. With the LSO he has performed the concertos of Dvorák, Brahms, Haydn and Elgar, and collaborated with some of the greatest conductors, including André Previn, Sir Colin Davis and Pierre Boulez. He studied with Jacqueline Du Pré and William Pleeth.
