This Could be an Excellent Resource Review by Wendy Aird - The Reader (Winter 2010)
Star Rating Containing intercessions for each Sunday for the three years of the common Worship lectionary, and including a DC-ROM with the full contents, this could be an excellent resource, particularly for a church where a number of people, lay and ordained, take turns in leading intercessions. The prayers are well written and imaginative, although only two variations in responses are given. My only concern would be the price: most of us probably prefer to write our own intercession and this is an expensive book (Posted on 11/04/2011)

This is a very useful ‘up to the minute’ resource Review by extracts of Revd Ali Duguid - Canterburydiocese.org book review
Star Rating Leading intercessions in Church can be a very daunting task for some, albeit a joy ad a privilege. Rupert Bristow has produced a very helpful, user friendly book with CD, with prayers for the whole of the 3 year pattern of Sunday Worship. It maybe used as a helpful base for preparation or to pick up and use on those days when the intercessor is missing!
The book is clear with easy to read print and contains prayers for each Sunday on one double spread (no page turning involved) with space to pencil in any additions. However, each week the prayers can be easily printed from CD and if needed, the font further enlarged if necessary. They could even be printed onto weekly news sheets, for people to take and use at home during the week.
The words of the prayers are very 2010 user friendly, for all ages. Some prayers for festival/feast days are repeated each year, but are included every year at the appropriate place, so there is no need to be searching for year A B C ect and the bookmark can safely be left in place. This is a very useful ‘up to the minute’ resource and I recommend all Churches to have a copy and particularly to make use of the CD.
