Is Kevin Mayhew a Bookshop?
We are a bookshop; we sell from our office and from our online shop. Kevin Mayhew Ltd is a publisher of books, Christian books, resource books, music books including sheet music and teaching material along with many other complementary product ranges. We are a retail outlet in our own right and have an online shop available for you to research our products and order online.

What products do Kevin Mayhew Ltd sell?
As a publisher, bookshop, event organiser and retailer we aim to sell products that people can come to expect from the Kevin Mayhew brand. Please browse our online shop by category or search for products by utilising our search facility.

What if I have a complaint, or am unhappy with my order?
At Kevin Mayhew Ltd we are constantly striving to improve the experience of our customers and welcome your input accordingly. Should you have any comments, please go to our Contact Us page. Should you have a complaint, Kevin Mayhew Ltd will strive to deal with this immediately as your satisfaction is important to us. In fact, every effort is made to reply to your complaint on the day we receive it. Please e-mail sales@kevinmayhew.com and your correspondence will be treated as confidential and you will be kept informed of the steps taken to resolve your problem.

What is your returns policy?
Products may be returned to us if they meet the conditions set out by our returns policy.

When can I expect to receive my product?
For the UK mainland despatch normally takes between 3 to 5 working days for items in stock.

If you have ordered a special or custom-made items such as church supplies, there may be a longer lead-time, in which case we will contact you to advise you of this.

Depending on the weight of your order we will either post it by Royal Mail or have it delivered by our courier DPD.

For all overseas orders, the delivery charge is for delivery by airmail.

What charges do you make on orders?
Delivery charges will be calculated automatically and shown at the time you place your order.

Can I look at your books before I buy them?
Yes. You can place your order online and return within 30 days for a full credit.

How can I pay for my order?
We use an secure online payment system for taking credit card details on the website and by phone. We also allow Schools and Churches in the United Kingdom to pay by invoice. Orders placed by methods that do not involve instant money transfer/clearnece (for example purchase orders) will not qualify for some website services that rely on live payment tracking.

How do I check the status of my order?
To check the status of your order, please click the My Account link and login to your account. Order statuses are displayed in the Account Dashboard and further information is available by clicking the relevant order.

How do I find the stock availability of a product? What is a backorder?
Products are marked as In Stock or  Available to Backorder. For our Church Supplies items stock availability can be found out by contacting our Church Supplies manager. Usually, unavailable products can be back ordered. As a multi-channel retailer (i.e. phone, post, website etc) items are in and out of stock frequently. For large quantity orders we recommend that you contact our sales department first by emailing sales@kevinmayhew.com. Alternatively, you can call us on 01284 374495.

Is shopping online with us secure?
We take payments via a secure checkout and have a recognised server security certificate, as indicated by the padlock in your browser.

Where do you store my credit card information?
We do not store your credit card information. Payment details are taken and processed by PayPal Secure Servers.

How do I get a delivery quote?

How do I know if an item has been placed on backorder?
If an item is out of stock but available for backorder this will be displayed against the product (next to a red tick). Please see the question on stock availability above. You will also be notified within your cart when you proceed to the checkout.

How do I find information on a part-delivery?
Information on whether an order has been part-delivered is available in My Account>My Orders. You can select the order you wish to view and the delivery information (including whether an order has been part-delivered or not) will be shown at the bottom of the page.

How do I know if my order has been dispatched?
Information on whether an order has been dispatched is available in My Account>My Orders. You may also receive an email when your order is dispatched.

How long will I have to wait if an item on my order is out of stock?
Lead time on out of stock items vary depending on the product. For further information or to enquire about specific items or orders, please call 01449 738 839.

How do I change my password?
The password change facility is available within My Account>Account Information and can be changed by checking the Change Password box and entering the required information.

Can I shop without an account?
Unfortunately we no longer offer guest accounts, due to an effort to improve customer experience by allowing customers and sales staff to access purchase history and order tracking.

Can I be invoiced?
If you are a member of the clergy or are authorised to place orders on behalf of a church or school in the UK or Ireland, we are happy to invoice you. Simply register for a normal account and select the Invoice Order ( Schools & Churches Only) payment option when making your purchase.

What does the stock status 'Available to back order' mean?
If we currently do not have stock of a product but plan to replenish our stock levels then we still offer the item for sale and the item will be dispatched to customers as soon as it is available.

Stock availability on this product depends on the specific options you chose for the products e.g. Colour, Size etc. The availability will be indicated in the drop-down lists of the product page.
