I like this as supplementary material alongside the Sarah Watts tutor. Review by Highbridge, UK (musicroom.com)

Pupils find it fun - accompanying disc is up-beat and gives a real feeling of achievement, even if the solo is just on one note!! (Posted on 21/01/2013)
Simple but fun Review by Amie, Rugby, UK (musicroom.com)

I bought this for my little sister who is currently learning the flute and she thoroughly enjoys it as an extra to the music covered in her lessons. The pieces are simple but fun and can be performed with the exciting backing tracks, or with the relatively simple piano parts if we want to play duets (my piano skills are not great but I can manage them with practice). I bought this for my (8 year old) son who is learning the flute and has more traditional materials to work through for his lessons. This book is an instant hit with him - the CD with the recorded tracks have allowed him to play along very quickly. (Posted on 14/01/2013)

"Razzamajazz was the first series I wrote and I still think it is one of the most useful. The idea behind the various instrumental versions was to provide a way of learning an instrument while playing actual pieces. I thought the teacher might find it a useful accompaniment to the traditional tutor book.

I really wanted to write pieces which made the student sound good, right from the very first note. I wanted to set the student up for success by writing each piece with a special accompaniment that made them feel they had achieved something great, and made them want to turn the page and learn more.." - Sarah Watts
