Be my light when darkness is falling
Choices, choises
Don't bottle things up
Everybody join in
I could climb the Eiffle tower
I like red, you like blue
If I had a sond I'd sing it
In this world it's not hard to spot
It's a great, great world
It's good to pray
Let's join hands around the world
light a candle
Oh, I love the colour green
Once there was a donkey
Open your eyes
Peter asked Jesus
Praise the Lord
See the baby in the stable
So good, so kind
Some are full of action
There's a spring on the mountain
This is our school
We all need a little kindness
We bring our prayers
Whatever you are doing, try to do your best
When I look into the sky
When raindrops fall
When the sun is shining
Who is who
Yes, the journey of life

Alison Carver, Barry Hart and Val Hawthorne should be congratulated on quality of their songs. Review by extracts - Jeremy Dibb - Music Teacher Magazine
Star Rating For anyone who hasn’t bought music published by Kevin Mayhew before I think it is only fair to point out that these compositions are 30 catchy new Christian assembly songs. Given the multicultural nature of our schools, this perhaps needs to be made clearer. However, I liked this collection very much and Alison Carver, Barry Hart and Val Hawthorne should be congratulated on quality of their songs.
Whenever a collection of songs of any style comes out, teachers will inevitably pick and choose. There are a few here that I probably would not use – but far more that I would. Some of the songs are lovely, with terrific melodies, and the rock-style numbers are just right. The singing on the CD is great and the backing instrumentation is lively although not particularly inspiring. The songs are printed in alphabetical order with helpful subjects index at the at the back (and if anyone can tell me what the contents page at the front trying to show I would be very grateful!).
