Quick Overview

Ashley Wilson invites us, in this book, to imagine the world from the perspective of homosexual men and women who want to live Christian lives as part of a Church community.
Ashley Wilson invites us, in this book, to imagine the world from the perspective of homosexual men and women who want to live Christian lives as part of a Church community. He shows the difficulties for them and also for Churches who struggle to be inclusive and compassionate, but stay faithful to any teaching on homosexuality that is part of the tradition of their Church. If Christian ethics should always be good news, as Archbishop Rowan Williams has suggested, how is this so for Christian homosexuals today?

Ashley Wilson is Chaplain to St Chad's College in Durham. Before ordination he worked as a veterinary surgeon in general practice for fifteen years. He is a graduate in Theology from Durham University and prior to taking up his current post, he was parish priest in North Yorkshire, as well as a Children and Youth Office in York diocese.
