Following her university and postgraduate music studies, Alison enjoyed a successful career as an orchestral percussionist, pianist, and musical director, during which she began composing for children and received commissions from the BBC. Now working in primary music education, she draws upon her extensive professional experience to write varied and appealing songs and musicals for her students, creating music designed to be a pleasure for both the performers and their audience.
