I am really pleased with this book for beginner violinists Review by Tamsin64 (musicroom.com)
Star Rating
Probably suitable for Y3 upwards, it introduces open strings with lots of fun pieces, played at a realistic speed for beginners on the backing track. Then introduces all 3 fingers on a string at a time which I think is better than working on first finger only on all 4 strings etc. There are lots of rhythm and aural activities which really stretch the pupils. This is my favourite tutor book at the moment and I have tried many over my 25 years of teaching!

Class Act Violin - pupil and teacher Review by Vicky van der Vliet
Star Rating
As a peripatetic string teacher I have found this book to be such a huge success with infant and primary violinists. The CD accompaniment is popular with both pupils AND their parents, and everyone is doing so much more practice between lessons - it's an excellent resource for both individual and group teaching - thank you.
