Description: Letters Pray

Letters Pray is a flexible, user-friendly resource for 9–11 year olds and ideal for school assemblies. Based on an alphabet of simple themes relevant to the 21st century, each session is built on a letter and a prayer. These are accompanied by a range of further teaching resources:

• aim of the session
• background information
• key verse
• further Bible references
• task related to the letter
• suggestions for visual aids

The letters are imaginative and often humorous; they illustrate and explain the theme. The prayers also relate to the theme and have a response which everyone is invited to join in with, as an act of reflection on the key message. They link together the various aspects of the session and bring it to a positive close. Suitable for Key Stage 1-2
