Many of the National Curriculum requirements for music are covered, as outlined in the programme of study at the beginning of each activity. Yet this exciting new resource has been carefully written to be accessible to the non- specialist.

        ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Davina Shore qualified in 1988 with a BEd Honours degree, specialising in music.

For the last fifteen years she has worked as a primary school teacher where music has always played a significant part. As well as teaching, Davina has led choirs, run a musical theatre club, provided in-service training for teachers, directed school productions and taught music across the primary range.

When she isn't at work Davina regularly leads and plays in her church music group and really enjoys involving the children in the music making. Davina and her husband have a repertoire of piano solo and duet music which they perform at weddings and other concerts. Davina also acts and musically directs for local amateur dramatic groups.

She is Acting Assistant Director of Music at King's College School in Cambridge
