Easter falls on 5 April this year, which means we've got just over three weeks to get everything in place. Whether you're a churchwarden, clergy member, church musician, or simply someone responsible for helping your church prepare, this checklist will help you make sure nothing gets missed.
Getting ready for Easter isn't just about flowers and special services - it's about making sure every detail supports your congregation's experience of this most significant season in the Christian calendar. Let's walk through everything you need to think about.

If you haven't already, this is the time to order a new paschal candle. A new one is needed for each year, and it should be in place by Holy Saturday ready for the Easter Vigil. While you're ordering, consider adding wax reliefs and transfers to personalise it. Browse our paschal candles and wax reliefs.
Palm Sunday is 29 March, just two weeks away. Your congregation will expect palm crosses during the service. Make sure you have enough for all your regular members plus visitors. Order palm crosses here.
Check your stock now. Easter sees more services than usual. Make sure your altar candles are sufficient and your candlesticks are clean and in good order.
Easter services attract fuller congregations, which means heavier demand on communion supplies. If you're not already well-stocked, place an order now.
