Quick Overview

Organ music can be fun
Organ music can be fun, says Noel Rawsthorne, and in Dance Suite, written for Gordon Stewart to play at the reopening of the restored Father Willis in Huddersfield Town Hall, he sets out to prove it.

You’ll find here a fine March based on ‘On Ilkley Moor’, a jazzy piece for pedals only called Dancing Feet, a romantic Waltz, a lovely Danse des Papillons and finally an exuberant Line Dance.

Dance Suite Review by Ferenc
Star Rating
Dear Publisher,
Thank you for the sheet music and your letter.
I personally knew only few masterpieces of the Master Noel Rawsthorne such as Fanfares, Hornpipe Humoresque, etc.
I herard his opus the Dance Suite on organ on the Internet and was searching for the puplisher. My dear priest friend has contacted the Master' disciple Prof. Dr. Ian Tracey for me. Through his recommendation I have found your website.
The Dance Suite is such a remarkable masterpieces as his other works. It carries a great value with its connection to folk music, unusual melodies, and unique tones and also technical solutions. It is a great joy not only learning but also rendering them.
I believe the Master will pleasure us with a lot more of his work in the future.
I truly wish you the opportunity to be able to public many more remarkable masterpieces such as this one.
Your sincerely,
Ferenc (Posted on 18/09/2012)
