I thought the wooden box might be second best - because, as a parish, we can't afford hundreds of pounds for a metal one BUT........ it's great. Someone said "well, they won't stay fresh in there". No, they won't but we can keep the wafers fresh in a plastic box/tin and simply take them out, put in the box and then back in the platic container. The box looks so much more appropriate during a service.
