There are specially priced tutor packs for class teaching. The Red Hot Recorder Tutor Student copy contains tutor elements and the tunes, and the Teacher copy has piano accompaniments.

        Wish I had this when I was learning to play the recorder!

        Back in the day, we were learning the recorder by listening, screeching and more screeching. This book is very well laid out to teach absolute beginners how to read music and play the recorder. The book teaches note values, rest values, tempo, simple Italian music terms, everything you would expect to know to learn to read music. The tunes on the CD are catchy and well-structured. Preparing the student for practice (with a slower paced practice track) and then when confident, for performance (same piece but at a substantially quicker pace), these are set out in a logical step-by-step approach which are engaging. Tracks 7 and 8 are just two examples (of many) of this great teaching technique. Student (6 years old) struggled at first and then after some practice, was delighted and proud to be able to play the "performance" track. Highly recommended.
