Reading this book has really helped with my alone time with God. The book is full of amazing devotionals that help you dig deep into the scripture and reflect and think about it.
I enjoyed reading it so much as it was so enlightening and helpful. I loved the poems written in there and that there was a whole playlist to accompany each day.

I've felt real benefit from reading Georgie Tennant's book of wise and thoughtful reflections. They look at the day's topic in depth and I began to appreciate this more and more as I worked through them. The reader is fully reminded of the particular story being explored or of the character being examined and I found this so helpful. I also loved the fact that the reflections weren't dated - a key plus for someone who inevitably falls behind! Having said that, I only missed a couple of days because they weren't a chore to go back to. The book got me back into a (mostly) regular devotional habit and now the challenge is to find something just as good with which to continue!

This is a beautifully written devotional which fed me, heart, mind and soul. With a range of reflections, biblical examples and key questions, Georgina Tennant gently challenges the overlooked and unnoticed, to trust in the God who sees. And who doesnt feel like this at times?
With testimonies from the authors own life and examples of her exquisite poetry, this devotional, while appealing to the well versed, is emotionally as well as intellectually satisfying. Georginas devotional writing is that rare thing, a comfort and a challenge, emotional and thoughtful. It satisfies on so many different levels.
I would heartily recommend this wise and lovely book. It will inspire you to know that you are loved, you are seen. It will remind you that each seed of goodness that we sow, in our jobs, our caring roles, our experiences of poetry and art, our family lives, the grace-filled, ordinary conversations we have, is seen and valued by God.
I will be reading this devotional again and cannot commend it to you more highly.
