This story is based upon the parable that Jesus taught. However, it is a little different. It centres around two pests. The first is a lion who thinks he's more than a match for the Good Shepherd (but guess who wins!). The second is a character called Boing who resists even the best endeavours of the Good Shepherd.
Boing's behaviour eventually leads to tragic consequences, and in the process of trying to bring him back to the flock the Good Shepherd's body is pierced by cruel thorns.
