The Selfish Giant
The Selfish Giant is one of Oscar Wilde's most popular fairy tales. The story is based around a giant whose attitude changes as he comes to understand the goodness of a little boy.
The parallel with the Easter story makes this musical ideal for the spring term. The Selfish Giant is suitable for an assembly or for a larger production, and lends itself to dance and dramatic movements, as well as singing and the use of musical instruments.
Suitable for Key Stage 1-2
