Trouble in Paradise is a fun, light-hearted and thought-provoking children’s musical, designed primarily for children aged 8-12.
It delves into the themes of creation, environmental stewardship, and the consequences of human actions. Set in the Garden of Eden, the story begins with a whimsical portrayal of the 'Big Bang' and the six days of Creation as narrated in the Genesis account. The musical presents a unique perspective on the Creation story, intertwining it with modern-day issues such as climate change and the threats facing our planet.
Trouble in Paradise not only entertains with its catchy tunes and lively performances but also educates and inspires young audiences about the importance of environmental conservation and responsible decision-making. It serves as a poignant reminder of the delicate balance between humanity and nature, urging everyone to take action to preserve the beauty and sanctity of our planet.
The musical ends with the reassurance that it’s not too late. Each of us can make a positive difference. As the final song says, ‘We’re all in it together!’
